A roof scaffold isn't just access. It's the edge protection that stops a fall, the loading platform for the tiles and the chimney scaffold your roofer can't do the stack without.
Working lift at the eaves
Boarded lift at gutter height with a double guardrail above the roof line, so the roofer steps straight onto the slope.
Edge protection
Guardrails and toe boards above the eaves on every elevation being worked, to SG4 fall-protection standards.
Chimney scaffolds
A proper platform around the stack for rebuilds, repointing, cowls and lead work. No roof ladders, no hooks.
Loading bay
A gated bay for the pallet of tiles and the skip chute, so nothing goes up a ladder by hand.
Temporary roof
Scaffold-supported sheeted roof over the whole house when the roof is coming off and the weather isn't playing.
Netting and licence
Debris netting as standard, pavement licence applied for and paid when the scaffold touches the footway.

- Free surveyWe check ties, ground, access and whether the borough needs a highway licence. Fixed written quote the same day.
- Up in 48 hoursCarded crew, boarded, braced, netted, tagged and handed over with the certificate.
- Inspected weeklyStatutory inspection every seven days with the tag updated and a copy to you.
- Down when it's doneOne call and it's struck, usually next day, and the garden left as we found it.

Do you coordinate with my roofer?
Yes, and most roofers prefer it. Give us their number and we agree the lift heights, the loading bay and the dates directly, so you aren't the go-between.
What about the pavement licence?
If any part of the scaffold sits on the public footway, the borough has to licence it first. We apply, pay and manage the renewal as part of the quote. On a private drive or garden no licence is needed.
Can you scaffold just the chimney?
Yes. A chimney scaffold on its own is one of our most common jobs: a small platform around the stack built off the roof slope, with its own guardrails and a ladder up to it.
How long will it be up?
As long as the roofer needs it. The quote covers an agreed hire period and every inspection in that window; if the job runs over, the extension is agreed in writing before it starts.
